What we manage
Six ways we hold your supply steady
Risk on one side, stock on the other. Both run on the same order file, so a supplier problem does not become a stock-out and a slow month does not become dead stock.
Supplier risk assessment
Factories checked for capacity, reliability and financial health before your money is committed, so you are not exposed to a supplier who cannot deliver twice in a row.
Price and market movement
Raw material, freight and currency movements tracked through the order, with the landed cost re-checked before you approve and any change confirmed in writing.
Compliance and logistics risk
The certificates, labels and documents your destination requires identified up front, so a missing paper does not leave your goods sitting at the port.
Back-up sources and plans
A second factory qualified for your key products, and a written fallback for capacity problems, delays or a supplier who drops out mid-order.
Replenishment planning
A reorder rhythm agreed with you and timed against production lead times, so the next container is booked while your current stock is still selling.
Stock-out and dead-stock control
Fast movers protected with a buffer you agree, slow movers reviewed early, and order quantities adjusted before a line becomes cash sitting in a warehouse.
Where the risk sits
Risk you can see before it costs you
Most supply problems are visible months before they bite. The work is knowing which ones matter to you and having an answer ready before the deadline does.
Supplier concentration
Relying on one factory for a key line is the most common single point of failure. We spread critical volume and keep an approved alternative ready.
Currency and cost exposure
Quotes are set in the currency you buy in, and movements between approval and payment are flagged early, so a slim margin does not quietly disappear.
Lead times and capacity
Chinese New Year, peak-season congestion and factory loading are planned around, not discovered two weeks before your cut-off date.
Compliance and customs
Origin rules, labelling and destination requirements reviewed at quotation stage, so nothing is left to chance at the border.
Replenishment rhythm
Your reorder points and lead times are worked back into a calendar, so production starts before the shelf is empty rather than after.
Slow-moving stock
Quantities are checked against actual sell-through, so a product that has stopped moving is trimmed before it becomes a full container of dead stock.
How it runs
From risk review to a rebalanced order
- Review your supply planYour products, suppliers, lead times and stock position reviewed together, so the real exposures are named before anything is ordered.
- Fix the baselineBest price, currency, lead time and destination requirements agreed and written down at quotation stage.
- Qualify and hold back-upsPrimary suppliers confirmed, and a second source qualified for the lines that matter most to you.
- Run to a replenishment rhythmOrders placed against agreed reorder points and lead times, so production begins while stock is still moving.
- Review and rebalanceSell-through and supplier performance reviewed with you, and the next order adjusted up or down before it is placed.

Common questions
Before you hand over your supply plan
What does risk management actually cover?
Supplier reliability, price and currency movements, compliance and logistics, and the fallback plan if any of them fails. We look at them together on your order file, because these risks tend to arrive at the same time rather than one at a time.
How do you protect me if a supplier fails or delays?
We qualify a second source for your key products before it is needed, and hold the approved specification so work can be moved without starting the process again. If a delay is unavoidable, you hear about it early, with options rather than an apology.
How do you handle price and currency changes?
The agreed price and currency are confirmed in writing before work starts. If raw material, freight or exchange rates move before shipment, we tell you what has changed and by how much before anything is approved.
Can you help us avoid both stock-outs and dead stock?
Yes. We plan replenishment against your sell-through and lead times, protect your fastest movers with a buffer you agree, and review slow movers early so quantities are trimmed before they become cash tied up in a warehouse.
How is this charged?
Risk and inventory work runs on the same commission as the rest of our buying service — 7% for private clients, 5% for entrepreneurs, or a partner plan for committed volumes. It is charged per order and confirmed in writing before any work starts.
