What we do

Six things, from a category to a shortlist

Sourcing is not a search engine. It is deciding which factory can carry your order, at what price, and whether the product is worth bringing in at all. Here is what that covers.

Finding the right product base

Whether it is Yiwu market, a specialised factory town or a trading company, we go to where your category is actually made — not to whoever answers first.

Supplier screening

Business licence, export rights, production capacity, equipment and past performance checked before a supplier is allowed onto your shortlist.

Price benchmarking

Multiple quotes on the same specification, broken down into material, labour, packaging and margin, so you can see where the number comes from.

Market and trend research

What is moving in your category, what comparable products sell for, and which price point your market will actually accept.

Samples you can compare

Samples collected from competing suppliers and lined up side by side — material, finish, weight, packaging — before you commit to anything.

A shortlist, not a phone book

Two or three suppliers worth your time, with the reasoning, the quoted price and the risks written down, so the choice is yours and it is informed.

How we source

Research first, order second

Supplier research and market research run together. A factory quote means little without knowing what the product sells for and what your competitors are paying.

Where things are actually made

Kitchenware and household, toys, accessories, tools and hardware, office supplies, cosmetics and personal care — each sits in a different cluster, with different lead times and different factory types.

Category and market research

Trends, seasonality and demand for your product in your destination market reviewed before we source, so you are not buying into a category that has already turned.

Competitor and price scan

Comparable products and retail price points mapped out, so your landed cost and your margin are tested against the shelf, not against a wish.

Supplier due diligence

Licence, export rights, certifications and background verified, with factory visits where the order size justifies it — before we place anything in your name.

Like-for-like quotes

Every supplier quotes the same specification, so the comparison is real. Where a price looks too low, we tell you what was left out.

Confidential sourcing

Your product, your designs and your supplier relationships stay yours. We do not pass a client’s factory to another client.

How it runs

From your brief to a booked order

  1. BriefProduct, target price, target market and delivery window — enough for us to know what good looks like.
  2. Source and quoteSuppliers identified, screened and quoted on the same spec, with market and price context attached.
  3. ApproveYou review the shortlist and the samples, and confirm the supplier, price and specification in writing.
  4. Produce and inspectProduction starts, is followed to schedule, and the goods are inspected against the approved sample.
  5. Consolidate and shipPassing goods from several suppliers combined into one shipment, documented and sent on your terms.

What we need from you

Five things to start sourcing

  • Product or category
  • Target market
  • Target price or retail price point
  • Quantity and packaging
  • Delivery window

Have a photo, a sample or just a rough idea? That is usually enough to start. Send us the brief.

Common questions

Before you ask us to source

How do you find suppliers?

We work from the category first: the market and factory clusters where that product is actually made, then the factories inside them. Each candidate is screened on licence, export rights, capacity and past performance before it reaches your shortlist.

Can you research the market before we commit?

Yes. Market and trend research is part of sourcing, not a separate job. We look at demand, seasonality, comparable products and the price points your market accepts, and we tell you if the numbers do not work.

We already have a supplier. Can you still help?

Yes. Some clients use us to qualify a new factory, benchmark the price they are already paying, or add a second supplier as a backup. You can keep your existing relationship and use us only where you need us.

How are you paid?

Sourcing is part of our purchasing service, charged as a flat commission on the order — 7% for private clients and 5% for entrepreneurs, with a partner plan discussed case by case. The rate is confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Do we get to see the supplier details?

Yes. When we hand over a shortlist, you see the reasoning: the quoted price, the specification it was quoted against, and the risks we found. Nothing is hidden behind a margin.

Not sure which factory to use?

Send us the product and your target market. We will tell you where it is made, what it should cost, and which suppliers are worth your time.
