Supplier & contract management in China

The factories behind your order, and the agreements that hold them to it. We run both sides — the day-to-day relationship and the written terms — so your standard survives volume, staff changes and the slow drift of a long production run.

What we manage

Six ways we keep suppliers on your side of the line

A supplier is not a fixed price on a spreadsheet. It is a relationship that has to be worked — and an agreement that has to be enforced. We do both, on every order, in your name rather than ours.

A named account owner

One manager in Yiwu owns your account end to end: the person the factory deals with directly, and the person you email when something needs to move.

A communication rhythm

Scheduled updates through production instead of silence until a problem lands. You hear about delays, price movements and capacity issues while there is still time to react.

Priority on the production line

Repeated, predictable volume earns your orders a place in a factory’s calendar — ahead of one-off buyers when the lines are full and nobody wants to add a shift.

Performance reviews

Every supplier is scored on quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness and price stability, and held to that score rather than to how long the relationship has lasted.

Terms in writing

Price, specification, lead time, packaging, payment and remedies set out in a written agreement and confirmed with you before production starts.

Renewal and enforcement

Agreements tracked to expiry and renewed on reviewed terms. Where a supplier misses the agreement, we enforce the remedies instead of quietly absorbing the cost.

Supplier relationships

Keeping the right factories close

Good suppliers are not found once and then forgotten. The relationship is maintained order after order, so that when you need something difficult — a tight deadline, a small trial run, a change to the packaging — you already have their attention.

A cadence you can plan around

A set rhythm of updates and checkpoints through each order, agreed with you at the start, so you are never guessing where your goods are or what happens next.

Priority when the line is full

We place regular volume, so our suppliers keep room for us. When their capacity tightens, standing customers with a track record keep their production slots — that is the order you want to be.

Reviews with numbers attached

Quality, delivery, responsiveness and price stability are scored at the close of each order, so a supplier’s standing with us is built on record, not on the last phone call.

Problems escalated early

A missed deadline or a quality slip is raised with the factory as soon as we see it, not collected up and reported at the end. Small problems are far cheaper to fix.

Supplier development

Where a factory is good but not yet good enough, we work on the gap — packaging, documentation, consistency at volume — rather than simply replacing them.

Fair dealing, no hidden commissions

We take our commission from you, openly, and confirm it in writing. Suppliers are paid and treated fairly, which is why they take our calls when we need something moved.

How it runs

From brief to a signed-off, shipped order

  1. BriefYou give us the product, the destination market, the volumes and your standard. We tell you what the order needs before anyone quotes.
  2. Source and negotiateWe shortlist factories that can hold the standard at your volume, get pricing and lead times, and argue the commercial terms on your behalf.
  3. Agree and approveYou approve the supplier and the terms. Everything is confirmed in writing before production starts, so there is no argument later about what was agreed.
  4. Monitor and inspectProduction is followed to schedule and goods are inspected against the approved sample, with performance recorded against the supplier.
  5. Review, renew or replaceAfter shipment we review how the supplier performed, renew the agreement on better terms where it is earned, and replace the factory where it is not.

What we need from you

Five things, and the suppliers are ours to manage

  • Product and target price
  • Expected volumes and reorder cycle
  • Destination market
  • Your specification or approved sample
  • Delivery window

Our commission is charged per order — 7% for private clients, 5% for entrepreneurs, and a partner plan for ongoing programmes — confirmed in writing before any work starts. Tell us what you need.

Common questions

Before you hand over your supply chain

Who holds the contract with the supplier, you or us?

Either, depending on the order. We can place the order in your name with the factory contracted directly to you, or buy in our own name and resell to you. We tell you which route we are using before production starts, and the written terms match that route.

Can you manage factories we already buy from?

Yes. Many clients keep their own suppliers and bring us in for negotiation, contract terms, production monitoring and inspection. We work alongside the relationship you already have rather than trying to replace it.

How do you keep a supplier to the agreed price and lead time?

Both sit in the written agreement, with remedies if they slip. In practice the bigger lever is the relationship: regular volume, staged payments against the agreement, and the knowledge that a missed deadline costs them future orders, not just this one.

What happens when a supplier underperforms?

It is documented against their record and raised with them straight away. Depending on the failure, the goods are held for rework or replacement, the price is adjusted, or the supplier is dropped from your approved list. You get the report and the decision, not an excuse.

How is your work charged?

By commission on the order, not by retainer — 7% for private clients, 5% for entrepreneurs, and a partner plan for clients running continuous programmes. The rate is confirmed in writing before any work starts, and we take it from you, not from the factory.

Want your suppliers managed, not just found?

Send us the product, the factory and the terms you have in mind. We will tell you what we would agree, how we would hold them to it, and what it costs.
